Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

By using Sayoko, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how InferTheta (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses information when you use Sayoko — the website at sayoko.app, related chat features, Memory content, and the Sayoko Discord application (the “Service”).

Related terms of use are in our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you also accept those Terms.

1. Who we are

Sayoko is operated by InferTheta. For privacy questions, contact jlosella@infertheta.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  • Account and identity data — such as Discord user ID, username, avatar, and linked account identifiers when you authorize Discord or sign in
  • Messages and media you send — chat text, images, voice inputs you choose to submit, and related conversation context needed to reply
  • Memory and community content — drafts, proposals, profile fields, and edits you submit to Memory or review flows
  • Usage and technical data — approximate logs such as timestamps, feature used, error reports, and basic device/browser information needed to run and secure the Service
  • Preferences you share — for example games you like or onboarding answers, when you provide them so we can personalize recommendations

We do not ask you to send passwords for other services. Payment card data is not collected by Sayoko unless we clearly introduce a paid product and say otherwise.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide replies, guides, recommendations, and Discord features you request
  • Operate accounts, Memory publishing/review, and safety moderation
  • Improve reliability, quality, and the product experience
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms
  • Contact you about the Service when needed (for example install welcome messages)

4. AI processing

To generate answers, your prompts and relevant context may be sent to AI and related infrastructure providers we use to run the Service. Those providers process data on our instructions to return model outputs. Do not send sensitive personal data you are not comfortable sharing with an AI assistant.

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Service providers — hosting, databases, authentication, AI, search, and similar vendors that help us operate Sayoko
  • Discord — when you use the Discord app, Discord also processes data under Discord’s policies
  • Other users — only when a feature requires it (for example public Memory pages you publish, or introductions you opt into)
  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect users, the Service, or others from harm or abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain Memory content you contributed, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms. You can ask us to delete account-linked data where applicable; some records may remain in backups or where law requires retention.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email jlosella@infertheta.com. You can also revoke Discord authorization in Discord’s application settings, and stop using the Service at any time.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process personal data under applicable law (including GDPR where it applies), typically to perform a contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in running a safe Service, or with your consent where required.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under Discord’s minimum age (or under 13 where that is higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy, except where local law requires otherwise.

12. Contact
